Rosemarie Greeley
IRVING — – Rosemarie Greeley, 85, of Irving, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2022 at her home.
She was born on Aug. 21, 1936, in Gowanda, daughter of the late George and Evelyn (Aldrich) Farley. She married Arnold Hilliker who predeceased her in 1988 and would later marry Thomas Greeley who predeceased her in 2019.
Rose was a member of the VFW in Gowanda and enjoyed her many hobbies. She was an avid golfer and enjoyed boating, fishing, and hunting. She also en-joyed going to the casino and loved the Buffalo Bills.
Rose is survived by three sons: Lenny (Laura) Vetter of Florida, James (Kathy) Vetter of Irving, and Arnold (Yvonne) Hilliker of Irving. Also surviving are two daughters: Joyce (Ed) Boedo of Irving, and Barbara (Rich) VanRenssalaer of Tennessee; as well as two step-sons: Troy Greeley of Buffalo and Eric (Kathleen) Greeley of Farmington, and three step-daughters: Tamara Greeley of Palm Beach, Fla., Karla (Tim) Farner of Gowanda, and Kristen (Mike) VanWey of Gowanda. Also surviving are three brothers: Allan (Lydia) Farley of Markhams, Richard (Bev) Farley of Florida, and Gary (Sandy) Farley of Gowanda; and a sister, Bobbie Poland of Florida; and a son-in-law, Joe Sweda of Silver Creek. Rosemarie is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her husbands, Rosemarie is predeceased by a daughter, Debbie Sweda; step-son, Chucky Thomas Greeley; a brother, Larry Farley; a sister, Don-na Bimber; and a brother-in-law, Ray Poland.
Friends may call on Monday, Jan. 24, 2022, from 4-8 p.m. from Mentley Funeral Home Inc., 105 East Main St., in Gowanda. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2022, at 11 a.m. from the funeral home.
Burial will be in Smith Mills Cemetery.
