Do you have diabetes, have someone in your family with diabetes, or simply want to start healthier habits? If so, Purdue Extension has a great program for you beginning Tuesday, January 25th! The program runs for 4 weeks until February 15th. Then, on May 12th will be a 3 month follow-up. You can join 10-12 or 6-8 PM via Zoom. Once, enrolled more information will be shared with you. Dining with Diabetes is a series of 5 sessions including a 3 month follow up session. The educational program will teach you how to prepare meals that are healthy, easy to prepare and taste good. Participants will also learn up-to-date information on nutrition, meal planning, exercise and how to understand common diabetes-related medical tests. Recipes will be demonstrated.
