American Legion Auxiliary Unit 136 is hosting its annual blood drive Wednesday, Jan. 12, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m., at the American Legion located at 4106 Stringfellow Road in St. James City. Look for the Big Red Bus.
The American Legion will be serving lunch from 11 a.m. until 1:45 p.m. and all are welcome.
As a thank you, OneBlood will provide an $10 eGift Card, and a long sleeve T-shirt. All donors receive a wellness checkup, including blood pressure, temperature, iron count, pulse and cholesterol screening.
Every blood donors is a hero that can help save up to three others.
