BELTON — Travel on Interstate 35 is slow through Bell County as spring break travel begins.

Southbound I-35 traffic was slow from Midway Road in Temple to near the Interstate 14 interchange near downtown Belton, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.

Northbound I-35 traffic was slow from near the Lampasas River bridge to the I-14 interchange in Belton.
